Certified Sexual Trauma Counsellor (CSTC)
Supporting Survivors of Sexual Trauma Certification Course
The primary goal of the Supporting Survivors of Sexual Trauma Certification Course is for students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work in more wholistic ways with individuals who are living with the effects of sexual trauma. During the 40 hours of training, students gain knowledge of the effects of sexual trauma on body, mind, emotion, and spirit, and on relationships; learn to use therapeutic art and nature work and learn to successfully guide clients to heal the inner-most scars of sexual trauma. Based upon the belief that effective helpers must themselves be on a healing journey, a second goal of this course is the facilitation of personal healing for each participant.
